ÖSG Congress 2026

From September 17 to 19, 2026, Vienna will become a hub for science, practice, and innovation in sports science. Under the motto “Connected in Motion: Sports Science in the Digital Age,” the ÖSG Congress invites participants to discuss current developments, explore new perspectives, and shape the future of sports science together.

Organized by the Institute of Sports and Movement Science at the University of Vienna, the Congress offers a platform for scientific exchange, interdisciplinary networking, and innovative solutions. The focus is on linking research and practice, fostering dialogue between established experts and emerging researchers, and promoting exchange with all related disciplines that intersect with sports and movement.
